    Get a taste of jewelry design and making through the wax technique! In this workshop, you will explore 2D concepts around jewelry by drawing, from the theoretical and practical, to the most conceptual and abstract. Through sketching and prototyping, you will better understand, develop and communicate your ideas. You will then learn how to transfer your designs onto a 3D surface using the wax carving and casting technique. With a trip to the casters in Khan el Khalili, you will speak to masters in the craft. By the end of this workshop, you will have your very own wax pieces and turn them into brass and silver jewelry!
