Facilities management is a profession that encompasses multiple disciplines to ensure functionality of the built environment by integrating people, place, process and technology. Facilities management includes such diverse disciplines as: Health and safety, Fire safety, Security, Maintenance, Cleaning, Grounds maintenance, Caretakers, Property management, Business continuity, Space allocation, Change, and many, many, more.
Facilities Management Practice (FMP) - the competency qualification is a work based National Vocational Qualification (NVQ), commonly known as a Qualification Credit Framework (QCF).
Progression Opportunities:
- (MBIFM) BIFM Member grade.
- BIFM Level 5 Facilities Management Qualifications
- Foundation Degree in Facilities Management
