Course details

This course is intended for both professionals from the beauty & entertainment sectors who wish to perfect their makeup techniques, as well as beginners who wish to master the principles of make-up. Understand the importance of colorimetry, color coordination, morphology & how corrective make-up and the art of lighting form the foundation of your career as a make-up artist. A minimum of 18 credits is required to achieve this qualification. All mandatory units must be achieved which total 18 credits.

• Unit 201 Working in beauty related industries  
  
• Unit 202 Follow health and safety in the salon 
  
• Unit 203 Client care and communication in beauty related industries 
  
• Unit 209 Apply make-up 
  
• Unit 210 Provide eyelash and brow treatments

Products, tools, and equipment: 

Cleansers, toners, moisturizers, concealers, foundations, powders, highlighters/shaders, eyeshadows, blushers, eye pencils, lip pencils, lipsticks, lip gloss. sponges, palette, spatula, headband, gown, brushes.

Assessment: 

This course will be assessed by practical tasks and knowledge and understanding task(s) in an assignment.  

Certification: 

On successful completion, you will get a certificate of completion by Pro Makeup Academy.
