What Will You Learn In The Individual Support For Disability Course?
The Certificate III in Individual Support online course will prepare you for a rewarding career in the disability, community, or residential care industry. As part of this disability care course you will develop tools to help you become a great disability carer, such as how to support people living with a disability through community participation and creating an empowering environment.
You will learn how to fulfil the critical functions of disability support workers as care givers for disabled individuals and the elderly in your community or in registered home care facilities. These include how to recognise the signs of a healthy body, provide appropriate care and support to the disabled, and communicate and function in the health and community services industry.
