The Building and Facilities Management industry is one of the fastest growing sectors of the economy. This is due to rapid development in the country, especially with the establishment of growth corridors and future developments such as TRX, HSR, Pengerang, MRT, and ECRL. There is a huge demand for qualified facilities management professionals to manage and maintain high-rise buildings, shopping malls, condominiums, manufacturing plants, transportation hubs, government buildings, hotels, etc.
Who should Enrol?
The Building and Facilities Management program is ideal for working adults who are seeking employment with good career prospects. An experienced Building Manager can earn up to RM 12,000 monthly!
The program is also ideal for Veteran Angkatan Tentera Malaysia / Police personnel who are seeking employment and are also interested to set up their own facility management companies.
Program Objective
The focus of this program is on providing the knowledge and skills needed by a Building Manager. The various functional areas of building and facilities management such Building Laws, Maintenance, Valuation, Services, and Construction are analysed in an integrated way. The program is ideal for those wanting to work in the facilities management industry. The program is offered in collaboration with the Building Management Association of Malaysia (BMAM). Graduates of the program can register with BMAM as "Registered Building Managers".
Duration
The program can be completed in about 12 months. Classes are held in Petaling Jaya.

Teaching Methodology
All modules in the program are taught by experienced lecturers who hold Master's or Doctoral degrees. Modules are taught through lectures, discussions, group presentations, exercises and case studies. All these methods are enhanced through the use of various teaching aids.
Examinations
Examinations are held at the end of each module.
Assessment
Assessment is mainly based on class participation and assignment.
