The Cert III in Individual Support (Ageing) is Australia's latest aged care training course. It is ideal for those who want to develop their career in the aged and community care industry by gaining the latest nationally accredited qualification for care givers and support workers.
The Individual Support course in Ageing will certify that you have the essential skills and knowledge required to provide support to seniors and the elderly. It supersedes the CHC30212 Certificate III in Aged Care.
What Will You Learn In The Individual Support For Aged Care Course?
The Certificate III in Individual Support online course will prepare you for a rewarding career in the aged, community, or residential care industry.
You will learn how to fulfil the critical functions of aged care as caregivers for seniors and elderly individuals in your community or in registered home care facilities. These include learning how to work effectively with them and participating in creating an empowering environment.
The Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) is made up of 13 total units. This covers 7 core units and 6 elective units, including the required electives to specialise in elderly or senior care.
The core units below are similar across all specialisations of this course, including Aged Care, Disability, and Home Care.

HLTAAP001- Recognise healthy body systems
CHCCOM005- Communicate and work in health or community services
