    Achieve recognition for your health and safety skills and knowledge anywhere in the world with the NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health.

    This is offered as an open course at a variety of venues overseas or it can be run in-company. It can be run as a two-week block; alternatively, it can be scheduled as two one-week blocks.

    Prerequisite:

    No formal health and safety qualification is required.

    Course Details:

    This course involves following three units on applicable to any work environment based on the guidance issued by International Labour Organisation (ILO):

    Unit IGC1: Management of International Health and Safety

    Unit GC2: Control of International Workplace Hazards

    Unit GC3: Health and Safety Practical Application.

    Who can benefit from this course?

    Managers, supervisors and employees throughout the world take the NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) because it gives them the skills and know-how to fulfil their Health and Safety responsibilities following International Labour Organisation (ILO) in any country and in any kind of organisation.

    Holders of NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety are entitled to Associate Membership (AIOSH) of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). The qualification also meets the academic requirements for Technical membership (Tech IOSH) of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health and Associate membership (AIIRSM) of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management.

    Apprentices are given a strong foundation in engineering through practical and theoretical training at SETA’s Learning and Skills Academy. Available to study at SETA on a day release basis are: BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Operations and Maintenance or Electrical/Electronics and from September 2016 we will also be offering the HNC qualification in Mechanical and Electrical disciplines.
