Course details
Major accidents can frequently be traced to failures in safety management systems. Though much effort has gone into perfecting such systems, it seems that they are not self-sufficient; they are dependent on people to function fully.
The culture of the organization drives people’s behaviour in powerful ways, and can undermine even the most stringent protocols.
This workshop goes beyond systems and regulations to cover the “people” side of safety. It aims to equip the participants with fresh insights on safety culture, and provide practical ideas improve it.
This is an interactive workshop with lectures, case studies, discussions and group activities.
