This course covers identifying risks, adopting risk control policies and procedures and performing basic risk assessment, as well as reporting findings.

Course Objectives/Outline

• Understand potential impacts on the independence of organisation
• Understand the impact on potential product deliverables
• Minimise threats to achievement of project objectives
• Classify risks e.g. technical and operational
• Provide a systematic approach to:
• Identify and assess risks
• Determine cost-effective risk reduction actions
• Monitor and report progress in reducing risk

Assessment Activities

Competency assessment will be conducted throughout and at the end of the course.
