This is the second workshop in the series on Communication Skills. This one focuses on spoken or verbal communication skills and how both of them help us get the best possible result in any interaction. This session focuses on effective speaking skills, importance of non-verbal communication, presentation skills, and effective listening. During this session we will introduce advanced communication principles including EQ and other important elements required to build meaningful interpersonal relationships.

By the end of this workshop, participants should be able to:
  1. Explain why effective communication skills are pivotal to success in any workplace
  2. Identify what makes specific skills difficult to master
  3. Describe essential concepts and methods of meaningful communication
  4. Reduce misunderstandings by checking back and clarifying information shared
  5. Use specific skills and emotional intelligence to build positive relationships
  6. Being assertive and helping others with it as well
  7. Apply tried and tested communication methods to give and receive feedback and persuade or influence others
