Course Description:
This course focuses on the law which governs the creation, reproduction and use of artistic and creative ; Participants will discover which works are eligible for copyright, when and how copyright originates, what copyright entails, how long copyright endures and who owns the copyright in any particular ; Participants will also be informed how and in which circumstances works may be reproduced and used by others who do not own the copyright in those works and when infringement of copyright occurs, as well as the remedies available to deal with ; In addition, participants will be informed of applicable international treaties and how they impact on copyright.
