Critical thinking is an ability of thinking clearly and realistically about what to act or what to consider, it also includes the ability of independent thinking.
Critical thinking is crucial in the modern highly competitive economy as it deals with the sudden and quick changes and new economy demands for flexible intellectual skills, the capability of analyzing information and creative thinking for business problems solving.
Critical thinking is the backbone of the most basic working abilities, including decision making, problem solving, sound analysis and good judgment. The unit seeks to deliver the guidance about critical thinking as it defines the term critical thinking and explains the characteristics of critical thinker. It also describes the common critical thinking styles, left- and right-brain thinking and the whole-brain thinking.
