SOMA strives to provide students with the ideal learning environment – a careful balance of both structure and creativity. Performing opportunities, internships and industry attachments, excursions to concerts and recording studios, and master classes by visiting artistes are just some of the activities organized for students to learn beyond the classroom. SOMA aims to provide today’s generation of creative individuals with not only an all-rounded education, but also a platform to grow, perform, network and eventually turn their passion into a career. More than a music school, SOMA continues to redefine music education in Singapore by reinventing teaching approaches, redeveloping existing curriculum to remain relevant to today’s industry demands, and encouraging creativity and innovation in students, with the goal of producing future leaders in the arts community.
