The course is designed to teach students the ability to take part in fire inspections and enforce the UAE and other international fire and safety codes. The students will also gain the ability to write inspection reports, coordinate and book inspections, and gain the ability to recognize hazards. The students will also learn about fire suppression and detection systems. Students will gain these abilities by gaining knowledge and skills in the following areas:

-     Special-Agent Fire-Extinguishing Systems and Extinguishers
-     Fire Detection and Alarm Systems
-     Fire Hazard Recognition
-     Site Access
-     Hazardous Materials: Descriptions and Identification Methods
-     Hazardous Materials: Handling, Dispensing, Transporting, Using, and Disposing
-     Plans Review and Field Verifications
-     Inspection Procedures
