Course Overview
Basic French Course Curriculum for Beginner's
Alphabets in French & their Pronunciation
Unit-1  Greetings

• Greeting people and saying goodbye
• Introducing yourself
• Saying where you come from and where you live

Unit-2 In a café

• Ordering drinks and snacks
• Asking for and settling the bill
• Counting up to 10

Unit-3  Public Transport

• Buying a bus or train ticket
• Asking and telling the time
• Asking about departure and arrival times
• Counting from 11 up to 69

Unit-4 Accommodation and eating out

• Booking accommodation in a hotel, a gite or a campsite
• Ordering a meal in a restaurant
• Counting from 70 up to 100 and further

Unit-5 Getting around

• Finding your way around town
• Finding out what's on
• Understanding Directions
• Asking for help in emergencies

Unit-6  Shopping

• Finding your way around a department store
• Shopping for clothes
• Buying food at a Market

PLEASE NOTE, VOCABULARY & BASIC GRAMMAR PERTAINING TO EACH OF THE ABOVE UNITS WILL BE TAUGHT TO THE STUDENTS'.
