Parents will do everything to prevent their kids from getting into accidents. Yet should emergency situations arise, it is best to learn how to apply the immediate response and attention needed to eliminate or minimize the risk as much as possible.
 
This 4-hour program is designed for parents to learn about child injury preventions and Paediatric first aid. This course is for moms and dads especially for those who take care and look after babies and young kids. Lessons will tackle emergency preparation, the proper response for different life-threatening emergencies and first aid for common injuries such as burns, wounds, insect bites and others.

• How to prepare your home in case of emergency
• Cultural & behavioral factors & Making positive changes
• Preparing for a real emergency
• Assessing the infant/child
• CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation)
• Safe Use of Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
• Recovery position
• Choking
• Drowning

 
First Aid for infants and children review

• Burns & Scalds, Bites & Stings, Wounds & Bleeding, Shock, Febrile Seizure, Eye & Head injury, Fractures, Poisoning, Heat Exhaustion, Electric Shock
• Internationally Licensed Instructors/Assessors
• Highfield (HABC) Accredited Training Centre & Tutors
• Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Service (DCAS) Accredited Centre and Tutors
• Practical Based Application training
• Certificate: valid for 2 years locally here in UAE (FOR PARENTS)(It will be issued Minimum two weeks of the training after successful completion of the course.)
