This is a 2-day intensive ultrasound workshop offered to anesthesiologists and physicians who wish to learn the basic and advanced skills of ultrasound guided nerve blocks and Central line Insertion. At the end of this introductory course, participants would have acquired a thorough knowledge of the imaging and needling techniques for nerve blocks in the following regions of the body:
Interscalene, Supraclavicular, Infraclavicular, Elbow to Wrist, Sciatic, Popliteal, Femoral, and Ankle
At the conclusion of this workshop, the participant should be able to:
• Describe the basic principles of ultrasound imaging for regional anesthesia and vascular access • Describe basic nerve block techniques in the interscalene, supraclavicular, infraclavicular • Recognize ultrasonographic images of nerves in the above mentioned regions • Perform the technique of ultrasound guided nerve blocks and CV line insertion. • Acquire hands on nerve/vessel scanning skills • Acquire hand eye coordination and needling skills تحديث بتاريخ 24 October, 2018
