Business Process Management is an art and science of performing work efficiently and in organized way in a company to give a proof of reliable outputs and to get benefits of developed opportunities such as reducing costs, error rates. The different phases of business process management involve the vision phase, the design phase, the modelling phase, the execution phase, the monitoring phase, the optimising phase.
During the vision phase, we focus on our vision and we pass through the different activities such as creativity, advancement, problem solving, and change and we have to put support mechanisms in place to put our vision into action.
During the design phase, the required information is collected, the problems or the challenges are recognized and then solutions are discovered to face those challenges.
During the modelling phase, organization focuses on what it desire to achieve and how they can achieve it by using the process. This phase serves two major purposes which are analysis and documentation.
The execution phase involves the process of implementation that is divided into three more steps deployment, automation and interaction rather monitoring phase involves the measurement of the individuals’ performance to get information to check their working position and statistics on the basis of the performance of one or more processes.
The opportunities for cost saving and other development activities are identified in optimization phase to improve business procedures and performance.
The unit seeks to deliver the guidance about business process management and its various phases deeply. It also enables the candidates to recognize the vital role processes play in a business and the process of business analysis.
The unit provides the proper guidance about the enterprise content management, enterprise content management model, business process re-engineering and business process re-engineering model. It also describes the history of business process management and benefits of business process management including a look at the business process life cycle.
