The purpose of this competency unit is to enable learners to Supervise Workplace Safety and Health in a Process Plant.

Target Audience

Learners who are:

• Supervisors, Engineers, Managers, Rescue personnel
• Safety personnel. Technicians, Operators

Assumed Skills and Knowledge

• Learners will be able to listen, read, speak and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills System (ESS) Level 5.
• They will be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to ESS Level 5

• Written questions & Practical Performance

Certification

Upon completion of the course and passing the examination, a Statement of Attainment (SOA) from the Workforce Development Agency (WDA) and a Safety Pass from QuESH Academy will be awarded to the trainee.
