The aim of this course is to train the participants on the effective management and decision making process based on the scientific and logical statistical analysis.

Learning outcomes

By the completion of this course, learner will be able to:

• Understand the fundamentals of the Statistical Analysis
• Apply basic data test methods like (Chi-Squared)
• Analyze the data validity and reliability
• Understand the usability of the data analysis computer programs such as SPSS and Excel
• Understand the concept of the probability tree
• Relate the statistical analysis to the decision making

Expected Qualification/Unit Level 

This course is an introduction to an expected Unit on Statistics equivalent to NQF Level 5

Assessment criteria for each learning outcome

Learners will be assessed throughout the courses based on their competency shown by one or more of the followings:

LO1, 4: Test

LO2, 3, 5: Assignment
