• Definition of “Problem”
• What is deviation?
• Difference between Symptom, Problem, Cause & Effect

Why People Fail to Solve Problems Effectively?

• Root cause analysis (The 5 Whys Method, 5W 1H, Ishikawa Diagram)
• Identify effects & consequences 

The Right Prescription

• Problem solving techniques  (Mind Mapping, Flowcharting, Brainstorming)
• The 4-step of decision making

From Plan to Action

• Develop a workable plan
• Communicate action plan to others
• Review the effectiveness of the action plan

Methodology: Mini lectures, plenary discussions, small group discussions, role-plays, exercises, presentations & case studies etc.
