Teamwork is vital for competing in today’s global workplace. Individual merit is not as desirable as a high level of collective team performance. Teams are a norm in any industry rather than an exception. This course emphasizes the knowledge, skills and attitude towards establishing good team culture and communication. Team building creates successful teams which are crucial to organizational excellence

OBJECTIVES

  • Importance of teamwork and identify the purpose of team building
  • Engage in active participation in team establishment towards success
  • Communicate more effectively with team members
  • Improve team performance using tools such as PDCA cycle, surveys, data collection, milestone charts, cause and effect, incentive and rewards
  • Develop team culture that is absolutely crucial in team building

ENTRY REQUIREMENT

Possess at least 3 GCE “N” level passes including English and Mathematics or ES WSQ Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) level 4 and above

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

Participant will be awarded the WSQ Statement of Attainment (SOA) provided he/she meets the following requirements:

  • 75% attendance rate
  • Assessed to be competent in given competency standard

CERTIFICATE ISSUANCE

Upon succcessful completion of the course, trainee will be awarded the WSQ Statement of Attainment (SOA). WSQ Certification is nationally endorsed and recognised by industry partners.
