Scratch is a free visual programming language created by MIT Media Lab, suited for kids aged 8 - 16 to improve their digital literacy. It is the first programming language that every kid should learn before they learn the text-based languages such as JavaScript, Python and so on. Scratch has also been world widely used by students, teachers, and parents to create interactive stories, animations, games, scientific projects, simulations, etc. and it provides kids an easy access to the fantastic world of computer programming at young ages.

Scratch helps kids learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively, which are the essential skills for life in the 21st century. 

In this course, we will get ourselves familiar with the Scratch editing environment, create three interesting and fun games, which are blowing the cloud, odd or even number, and the "pong" game.
