The main aim of the course is to teach the participants a system for quality control and quality assurance (QC & QA) as applied to chemical analysis laboratories, in order to improve the accuracy of analytical measurements and enhance the overall performance of the laboratory.
Objectives
At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Understand the concept of QC & QA
- Understand the basic elements and essential controls in QC & QA
- Design and implement an effective QC & QA System to improve the performance and operation of participant’s analytical laboratories
- Improve the accuracy of their analytical measurements
Participants
The course is intended for supervisors of analytical laboratories, laboratory analysts, professionals, technicians and those responsible for the development and supervision of laboratory QC & QA programs.
Pre-requisites
Background /experience in analytical laboratories.
