This module is designed to equip learners with the knowledge and skills to provide care for persons requiring assistance.
The course is pided into 3 units
- ​Unit 1. Understanding Client Care
- Unit 2. Using Equipment
- Unit 3. Assisting Skills.
Assessment: Project (40%) Skills Demonstration (60%)
On successful completion of this course the learner will be awarded a QQI/FETAC Level 5 (Component) Certificate in Care Skills. This course can be used as one of 8 modules required to attain a QQI/FETAC Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support.
