This course provides the learner with an understanding for the requirement and the skills needed for risk assessment in the workplace to ensure the health and safety of a team in a working environment. Learners will develop knowledge of health and safety legislation and be provided with a range of procedures and policies to identify improvements to the workplace and effectively manage risk assessment and evaluate the outcomes.

Objectives

The qualifying learner will be capable of:

• Understanding the role of risk management in the organization
• Grasping the Principles, Framework and Process of risk management
• Understand the requirements of good governance and the changing expectations of stakeholders
• Integrating risk management into their daily tasks and routine
• Identifying, evaluating and treating risks in the organization
• Implementing a risk management process in their departments
• Using risk management tools to assist in the risk management process
