The role of a SQL Server database administrator has expanded from the server rack to the datacenter to the cloud, and from Windows Server OS to Platform as a Service and Linux. This computer science course introduces features and technologies for implementing a database. Topics include: Considerations for Deploying SQL Server Deploying SQL Server to various environments and scenarios Migrating databases between versions and platforms Note: To complete the hands-on elements in this course, you will require an Azure subscription. You can sign up for a free Azure trial subscription (a valid credit card is required for verification, but you will not be charged for Azure services).
