Course Overview:
This course provides the learner with a detailed look at the development cycle of PHP and MySQL web applications with a focus on frameworks and leveraging content from open source libraries. This course is aimed at students with some PHP knowledge or who have completed PHP and MySQL 1 at CCT.
Programme Aims and Objectives
This course aims at providing the learner with the knowledge needed to develop advanced PHP and MySQL applications utilizing open source frameworks. Once this module has been completed the leaner will be able to:
- Design a PHP applications that utilizes open source frameworks to utilize existing implementations to reoccurring software development problems
- Develop a PHP application that uses open source frameworks
