COURSE AIM

This course is aimed at anyone who has medium knowledge of health and safety, he is already working in the industry, and want to change his status or need to enter the health job. The course is designed to raise the participants’ safety knowledge to work in safety officer position or near the safety supervisors.
 
COURSE CONTENTS

• Introduction to health and safety
• Health and safety management system and its components.
• Application of safety principles, regulations and procedures
• Adapting to a systematic approach to identification, evaluation and control of hazards in work areas.
• Safe driving
• Knowledge of safety signs and area of use.
• Knowledge of PPE and area of use.
• Reporting and investigating accident and incident.
• Identification of scaffolding systems, lifting equipment’s, lifting tools and tackles and identification of related hazards.
• Knowledge and skills in using self-contained breathing apparatus and gas testing equipment’s.
• Knowledge and use of basic firefighting equipment’s.
• Supervise, monitor, instruct and advise staff on safe work practices.
• How to conduct tool box talks.
• How to prepare checklists and reports.
• Prepare and presenting safety reports.

Practical exercise, work place inspections, Hazard identification and risk assessment, incident and accident investigation, prepare check list for safety inspection, tool box talk and safety moments ;
