COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Basic First Aid Course is aimed to give the candidates orientation on the principles of saving
lives, to help promote recovery and to prevent further worsening of the condition of the casualty.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
The Basic First Aid Course gives the candidates a deeper understanding about how to treat the
casualty by applying the proper procedures and prevent the condition of the casualty from worsening.
The Terms used in First Aid Services, equipment, supplies and records are also emphasized.
