Exam 70-536 is the basic exam you must achieve before you may proceed further with the other .Net Framework certification and exams. You may do exam 70-536 both with knowledge of the 2.0 and the 3.5 framework. This is because the exam focuses on the basic knowledge which is the same for versions 2.0 and 3.5. So you may also use this training as a basis when you want to continue with .Net Framework version 3.5.
