The Early Childhood Care & Education Level 6 Major Award (ECCE with Montessori) will provide the skills, knowledge and competence that will enable learners to develop a career as a Montessori Teacher for children whose age range is between.

- Junior/Leaving Certificate standard or appropriate FETAC/QQI Qualification or equivalent
- Mature Applicants with relevant life and work experience may be exempt fromthe above requirements.
- English Language Proficiency Test where deemed appropriate or an IELTS score of 5.0.
Assessment
A combination of module appropriate assessment procedures will facilitate the assessment of learning outcomes of this course. These methods will include a combination of final written examinations and continuous assessment processes such as assignments, collection of work, learner records, projects and skills demonstration.
