This Masterclass covers the role of the Script Editor. It builds and consolidates key script editing skills of script analysis, narrative structure, characterization and story lining. Participants will leave the course having a broad and clear knowledge of what the job of script editor entails. They will gain insider knowledge of how to find work as a script editor in the film or TV business. They also will learn the key skill of how to analyse a script, how to write a successful script report and how to run a meeting with a writer.

- Understand the grammar and structure of a drama
- Gain the skills of script analysis as well as working as a script editor
- Learn to formulate and compile script notes
