Course Introduction

SIMTech’s “Advanced Precision Metal casting” is designed to provide participants a general overview of the precision metal casting process from process design to quality control for the process improvement covering from defects control in high temperature metal casting to advanced casting for light weight metal alloys.

Through this course, participants will be able to grasp a better understanding of the many facets of precision metal casting and to work towards process improvement in their workplaces.

This course is unique in the advanced precision metal casting and two high reputation and well known professors from Australia and Canada were invited to share their expertise and knowledge in this course.

Participant in this course will get the knowledge of both ferrous and non-ferrous metal casting from design and defect controll in the casting to recent development and trend in metal casting.
