A leader is one who is able to lead himself or herself. A leader is never satisfied with the present but constantly battles to search for something better. Learn to manage yourself - how to communicate, implement and strategise - the way a true leader would.

What You Will Learn:

• Link business strategy to implementation through communication
• Influence the decision-making process
• Utilise his or her Emotional Quotient to create win-win situations during negotiations

Course Outline:

DAY 1

• Communication techniques used in delegation of roles and responsibilities
• Seeking feedback to enhance team cohesion and ensuring common understanding of goals and requirements
• Role modelling effective communication techniques and behaviours that demonstrate organisational values and ethics

DAY 2

• Development of implementation plans to support organisational strategic priorities and directions
• Facilitate the decision making process to ensure support for implementation plans and business strategy

DAY 3

• Pursuing actions that support the achievement of organisation’s strategic priorities and develop strategic direction
• Evaluating current and future requirements of leader’s role in the organisation
• Strategising to maintain the currency of knowledge in required areas of technical and managerial expertise

Requirements: 

Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree & 1 year working experience in a supervisory / executive role
