This MA (Radio and Television Production) is designed for students who already have a background in humanities or social science and who would like to apply their prior academic knowledge to non-fiction programming and documentary making.
Entry Requirements
All candidates must have an undergraduate degree in a humanities or social science subject cognate to Media Studies (i.e. English, History, Sociology, Politics etc). Any candidate who would like to discuss their eligibility should contact the Programme Director by email. Preference will be given to candidates with a 2.1 or higher BA degree. Admission to Media Studies for International students will be based in part upon an interview (carried out remotely), and upon submission of a writing sample. Applicants must have a recognised primary degree which is considered equivalent to Irish university primary degree level.
