This intermediate course targets candidates who have a sound understanding of English in a business context, and are familiar with basic communication in a business environment.

Module 3: Business Meetings and Interviews:

By the end of this module, candidates should be able to:

• Use accurately spoken English in various business contexts.
• Understand spoken and recorded business English at the defined intermediate level.
• Make a short oral presentation on business-related topics.

Module 4: International document preparation:

By the end of this module, candidates should be able to:

• Recognize familiar formats current in business communication.
• Distinguish the right tone, form, layout, content and composition suited to business communication.
• Write and comprehend detailed business letters, leaflets and e-mails.
• Read and analyze business-related articles.
• Take notes and illicit data from notes.
• Produce and comprehend detailed memos and notices.
• Develop a short business presentation.
