We've worked with the legal professions, judiciary, prosecution service and police to design an LLM that’s fit for the 21st century, which will provide you with the practical skills required for direct application in the workplace.

Entry Requirements

You will need one of the following:

• A first degree (2:2 or above) in a subject relevant to postgraduate study of justice systems
• Graduates with significant experience through work or voluntary engagement in the justice SECTOR
• Professional qualified to work in the justice SECTOR at a graduate stage or above.

English Language Requirements

If English is not your first language you will need an English language qualification. For this course you will need at least one of the following:

• IELTS 7.0
• TOEFL 600 (paper based) 250 (computer based) or 100 (internet based)
• Pearson Test of Academic English: 51
• Cambridge Advanced Certificate: Pass
• London Tests of English: we accept level 5 for postgraduate courses
• International GCE O Level English Language: Grade C
• International GCSE English/English as a Second Language: Grade C

We may ask you to take part in a telephone interview or wish to see additional written work at Masters level to support your application.

Course Outline

To complete the Masters, you will need to complete a total of 180 CREDITS. This must include:

• Legal Scholarship (20 CREDIT)
• Independent Study (60 CREDIT)
