The course will introduce fundamental Sonography Theory including terminology and equipment. It will provide a study of the clinical applications of Abdominal Sonography, including positioning and scanning protocol. Specific pathology and clinical
symptomatology will be covered as they relate to the sonographic appearance of these structures. Interpretation and critique of normal and abnormal anatomy with
correlation of clinical, didactic and image information will be presented. Lectures will focus in the above mentioned aspects as well as on how to collect patient information relevant to the different ultrasound studies, and how to correlate with the
