This course aims to provide the theoretical knowledge, key concepts about bariatric surgery, tips and tricks about sleeve gastrectomy and by-pass technique. A range of instructional strategies including hands-on training sessions in animal labs, videos, lectures, and groups discussions will be employed to enrich the learning environ-ment. Intra-corporeal suturing and anastomosis and the use of energy in laparoscop-ic procedures along with the potential complications and management.
