  • Concept of feedback, feedforward and cascade control
  • Controller tuning methods
  • Discussion on the operation of the heat exchanger
  • Fault simulation and trouble-shooting

  • Familiarization with YS170 controller, determining process characteristics using process simulator
  • Flow control, discussion
  • Tuning methods using process simulator, 1- element level control, 2-element level control, 3-element level control, discussion
