About the Presenters

James Sweeny and Andrew Hearle both trained at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (Hugh Jackman, Jai Courtney). This is one of the most prestigious drama schools in Australia. Both actors are now based in Sydney and have worked professionally in the industry.

What is this Course About?

In this course James and Andrew discuss their thoughts on how to get into acting. The videos are casual discussions between the two actors, talking about important issues such as getting an acting agent, staying motivated, and why you should train as an actor.

Along with a series of in-depth discussion videos there are also accompanying articles.

This course is produced by StageMilk, one of the biggest acting websites in the world. Andrew Hearle is the site co-ordinator and James is one of the main writers for the site.

Why take this Course?

It is often difficult to know where to go next as an actor. It can be a disheartening industry and everyone has an opinion!

Though both James and Andrew are relatively new to the industry themselves they have a lot to share. They have both completed full time training and are both trying themselves to forge an acting career. Though this is a very relaxed course it should offer some insight into the world of acting, and some advice, without all the spin.
