NeoConsult's fundamentals of healthcare management programme has been designed to provide senior nurses with the strategies required to be successful in leadership positions. The curriculum focuses on leadership strategies with an emphasis on healthcare systems management, covering all aspects of nursing administration. You will be exposed to a wide range of topics from disease prevention and health promotion, to workforce management.

Course Objectives:

• Assume managerial/supervisory positions in a healthcare/clinical setting, hospital department or healthcare related management field.
• Promote effective business unit decision-making skills and implement day-to-day management strategies.
• Explain the major concepts in the functional areas of accounting, marketing, finance and management.
• Describe and explain the ethical obligations and responsibilities of a nurse manager.
• Use management processes in an applied organisation or business situation:
