Health & Safety at Work place
 
The course will provide the foundations of risk assessment and control strategies; the integration of environmental management into business activities; working at height; workplace transport; and a basic understanding of the common hazards found in most workplaces.  
 
The training is a great introduction for anyone, at any level, with safety responsibilities, and an excellent review course for those with more experience.

What will they learn?
Training enables staff to acquire the skills and knowledge that, with experience, make them competent in the health and safety aspects of their work.

The one-day course will highlight the importance of working safely, ensuring that delegate's actions contribute to the safety of their organization and that individual responsibilities are clearly understood.

On successful completion of the course, delegates will be able to:

• Identify common hazards and evaluate risks, particularly in relation to work experience ; Understand the importance of appropriate workplace precautions and know when to seek advice
• Understand their role in ensuring a safe and healthy workplace
• Understand the importance of carrying out work activities without undue risk to themselves or others
• Report unsafe situations and have the confidence to seek health and safety assistance when required

Assessment: Students are assessed throughout the course by instructor ;   
 
Certificate: NAJMA certificate of attendance valid for 2 years is issued   on completion of the assessment.
 
Number of students per course: Maximum 12 students per course
