This module is aimed at carrying out road maintenance and construction work in a safe manner.

Who should attend:

This course is intended for outdoor staff employed by Local Authorities, Public Utilities and private sector contractors and other persons involved in works on public roads. Participants may be general operatives and supervisory staff.

• Signing, Lighting and Guarding at Roadworks
• Safety in excavations
• Plant and Equipment
• Materials
• Emergency Procedures, First Aid, Fire Safety at Roadworks

Certification:

• Registration in the FAS CSCS Scheme.
• Certification is valid for five years.
