This course is designed to pro­vide stu­dents with the tech­niques and knowl­edge required to gain a recog­nised qual­i­fi­ca­tion in hair­dress­ing allow­ing them to com­pete for employ­ment in a salon environment.

Entry Require­ments:

For entry stu­dents must achieve at least a merit in their QQI prac­ti­cal hair­dress­ing exam­i­na­tion, pass all other mod­ules and have secured a two day per week place­ment in a hair salon.

Pro­gres­sion and Career Options:

Stu­dents who suc­cess­fully com­plete may opt to take up Junior posi­tions within the Hair­dress­ing Indus­try. Stu­dents opt­ing to com­plete will gain more advancd skills before tak­ing up posi­tions in the Hair­dress­ing Industry.
