Students study towards the internationally-recognised Cambridge English Language Assessments and the Cambridge International Certificate in IT Skills (validated by University of Cambridge International Examinations, CIE). 

What will I learn?

First Year

Foundation Studies in English and Information Technology. Students study towards the internationally-recognised Cambridge English Language Assessments and the Cambridge International Certificate in IT Skills (validated by University of Cambridge International Examinations, CIE).

Second Year

In year two, students are introduced to the skills, methods and technologies used in the graphical design industry including both print and web production. Units studied include typography and colour theory, the use of software to produce artwork, desk-top publishing and working with design briefs.

Third Year

In year three, students have the opportunity to specialise in further developing their skills in  print-based,  web-based and digital production technologies. Units studies include photo manipulation techniques, design and production planning,

How will I benefit from taking this course?

Students will develop their understanding of the role of the graphic design specialist in business organisations. The will extend their practical skills in using a range of graphical design tools and techniques for print and online media.
