 The Forklift Truck training course introduces students to basic Forklift truck operations and give them a good understanding of forklift operations safety.

The theoretical and practical applications of forklift operations. Students will receive the latest up-to-date information and teaching methods and operating techniques.

Training Topics:
 

• Operating instructions, warnings and precautions
  
• Section 2 Differences from automobile
  
• Controls and Instrumentation
  
• Engine or motor operation
  
• Steering and maneuvering
  
• Visibility
  
• Stability of Powered Industrial Fork Truck
  
• Vehicle inspection and maintenance that the operator will be required to perform.
  
• Charging and recharging batteries
  
• Operating limitations
  
• Surface conditions
  
• Composition and stability of loads
  
• Load manipulation, stacking and un-stacking
  
• Narrow aisles
  
• Operating on ramps and sloped surfaces
  
• Operating in closed environments or areas with poor ventilation /
  
• Maintenance
  

 
Assessment: Continuous assessment by the trainer

Certificate: NAJMA certificate of attendance, valid for 2 year, issued On completion of the assessment.

Number of students per course:  Maximum student /instructor ratio - 15: 1
