This course focuses on how English pronunciation works and will help you be understood in an international work environment.
This course is for students who wish to improve their pronunciation of English either because they have problems in certain areas or because they need to speak clearly in the public domain.
DURING THE COURSE YOU WILL:
- practise the individual sounds of English
- learn the phonemic symbols
- learn about individual word stress
- learn about sentence stress and its effect on meaning
- practise the natural rhythm of spoken English
- learn about intonation to express meaning and politeness
- practise listening to native speakers to identify meaning.
