Emergency First Aid at Work

Introduction
The Emergency First Aid course is designed to provide first aid skills necessary to manage a patient that is not breathing normally, is
unconscious or is bleeding prior to the arrival of the emergency services.

The course is designed to meet the recommendations of the HSE Health and Safety at Work (1981) Regulations for Appointed Persons in the Workplace.

Assessment: students are assessed throughout the course by instructor observation of the essential skills. There is no formal summative assessment for this course.

Certificate: Najma certificate, valid for 2 years.

· Wall Certificate

Number of students per course: maximum 12 students per course
